RETREAT Our team retreat this year brought us to the picturesque Mount Rigi for a memorable experience. We enjoyed a scenic hike along snow-dusted trails, admiring the majestic mountain landscapes. Following this, we explored a charming Christmas market at Lucerne, embracing the festive spirit with warm cups of Glühwein. The day concluded with a shared culinary adventure at a vegan restaurant. An unexpected snowstorm added a unique challenge, fostering teamwork and making the experience even more engaging.

OUTREACH We had the pleasure of hosting Greek high school students in our laboratory, offering them a lab tour and engaging in discussions with our team. We hope this experience sparked their curiosity and inspired an interest in academic careers and scientific research.

OUTREACH Our lab participated in Science and Nature Festival 2024 that took place on 6th June at Irchel Campus. We welcomed visitors to our lab and conducted a tour showcasing where exciting data is born. At our department's exhibition booth, we performed hands-on demonstrations of the phenomena we are studying. We are delighted that many of our visitors enjoyed the experiments, and we had a great time talking to science enthusiasts!

Talking to our young science enthusiasts at our Department's exhibition booth at the Lichthof in Irchel was so entertaining. Everyone loved our ProteinGo video game and learnt alot about the multiple phases of TDP-43!
